We design the products, run the technology, and administer your policy; the insurance itself is underwritten and guaranteed by Humania Assurance Inc., a Canadian life insurer founded in 1874. Humania's 150-year legacy is the foundation under our modern technology.
We're licensed to operate in seven provinces: Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Our operations fall under the oversight of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) and the insurance regulators of each province we serve.
Your data is handled under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and applicable provincial regulations), with industry-standard encryption and strict access controls, we collect only what underwriting and policy servicing require.
