Oneday Insurance (Oneday TPA Inc.) is a Canadian life insurance product provider. This page documents how customers opt in to receive SMS text messages from us and how they can opt out.

How customers opt in

Customers provide their mobile number and give explicit, separate consent to receive SMS messages through one of two channels.

1. Directly on our website (onedayinsurance.ca), A customer completing a quote or application reaches the final step, enters their mobile number, and must tick a dedicated SMS consent checkbox, separate from our Terms and Privacy acceptance, before submitting. The checkbox is unchecked by default and required. The consent reads: “I agree to receive SMS text messages from Oneday Insurance and its contracted licensed advisors at the number provided, including my quote, application status, payment setup links, and policy updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

2. Through a licensed advisor, Many customers apply through a licensed insurance advisor contracted with Oneday Insurance. The advisor completes the application on the customer’s behalf in our secure platform and records the customer’s SMS consent via a dedicated consent checkbox after reading the same disclosure to the customer. Consent is timestamped and stored on the customer’s application record.

What messages customers receive
